Trump has demonstrated his racism in a number of ways:
He created a long-lasting attack on Barak Obama’s US citizenship.
Trump campaigned to be president in 2016, he said that Central Park Five were guilty and that their convictions should never have been vacated. This is after the actual assaulter confessed. Republican senator John McCain retracted his endorsement of Trump, citing in part “outrageous statements about the innocent men in the Central Park Five case.”
Michael Cohen, Trump’s attorney for over ten years said that “As a rule, Trump expressed low opinions of all Black folks, from music to culture and politics.” Among other disparaging comments, Cohen claims that Trump said “Tell me one country run by a Black person that isn’t a shithole.”
During his debate with Kamala Harris, Trump repeated the absurd lie that Haitians were eating dogs and cats.
There are dozens of Trump statements that are racially insensitive, but there are also these stated examples of racist actions he took.
The Neo-Nazis and pure racists express total support for Trump:
The editor of the Neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer stated, “Virtually every alt-right Nazi I know is volunteering for the Trump campaign.”
Neo-Nazi James Mason expressed that the election of gave him hope, commenting that “in order to you have to make it white again”.
WHAT WE CAN DO:
Make noise! March! Put up our posters. Make it clear if you don’t condone having a racist as president.
